So...I sketched this in like...November of last year and just found it lying around the other day and decided to color it (which I think was the plan in the first place :/ ) Anyway, I was looking for something to cure my art block and I figured...what the hey, I drew it already how bout I throw some color on it? Well...I did a little more than that. I needed to give Maelstrom another picture dedicated to himself, so I did.

When I sketched it I was going for something -dynamic- >_> I suppose. I hope I succeeded. I actually am really happy with how this turned out. The brightness and somewhat "blurry" colors and shading are supposed to kinda show that he has only just ridden a lightning bolt to the ground, as many of the avornikai species like to do (as well as ride/race them through the sky). This is like...the split second before the electricity disappears, leaving only the natural glowing aura that surrounds all avornikai, proving that their bodies are always pulsing with electrical energy. Otherwise they kinda...desolve into the lightning, only to reappear wherever it lands.

He is angry because well...Maelstrom is almost always angry. His mood shifts dramatically with no warning and it seems as if his mind is clouded with rage for some reason unknown to anyone else. Some say they are memories...bad memories, or maybe the control of some other power. Not even Chizaiyn knows *shrug* but part of her story is finding out. But again, this isn't about her XD

Anyway, I will probably make this a portfolio piece, I've already got votes for that from outside sources (meaning other than myself X3)

I will also use this picture to announce that anything Endarhi related from now on will be uploaded to the ~Endarhi account...unless it becomes something like this and I feel like I need to post it on my main account.
